Skyline Support Association |

The Skyline Support Association is Skyline’s parent/teacher organization. We are an award-winning association which is dedicated to supporting the administration, the faculty, the families and ultimately, the students here at Skyline Middle School. The SSA usually meets on the second Thursday of each month at 7:00 p.m. in the Skyline library. We invite all of our parents to join the SSA and participate in these meetings. A member of the administration is present every month. Throughout the year we will have guest speakers to help raise our awareness in areas pertinent to the middle school ages. This is the forum to help you become informed about, and involved with, your child’s education. Our association is abundant with various levels of opportunities to participate. Do not feel you will be pressured to commit to a lifetime of service. Your involvement is appreciated whether it is baking a dozen cookies at home, chaperoning a school dance or anything in between. Each gesture is of equal importance. Keep in mind that your ‘middle-schooler’ still needs you and your attention no matter what they say. The SSA supports a Monthly Bulletin to keep you informed of deadlines and important dates at the school. We also provide a Quarterly Newsletter with articles from the administration and faculty, and a window to showcase the talented voices of our students. Be sure to watch for these helpful tools. You are also welcomed to call us with any questions or concerns. Please make the effort to join us at our next meeting. You’ll find a lot of great people doing a lot of great things for the students at Skyline Middle School. |
